What appealed to you about Foot Anstey (when you applied)?
I was looking for a South West firm where I would receive excellent training and exposure to quality work and clients. Foot Anstey ticked these boxes.
What has the (working) highlight of your trainee contract been?
During my employment seat I was asked to travel to Newcastle to assist a client with a disciplinary hearing. The client had not conducted a disciplinary before so I was able to provide advice and guide her through the process. I had support from senior members of the employment team by phone if any questions were raised that I was not able to answer. This is just one example of the many opportunities I have had during my training contract to have direct client contact and of the level of trust that is placed on you as a trainee.
What do you like about the culture at Foot Anstey?
Foot Anstey does not have a jackets on seats culture, I have never felt like I need to stay at my desk for the sake of appearances.
How has Foot Anstey helped you grow your career?
The four months seat rotation has enabled me to gather a breadth of experience and learn from some really great teams, so I feel ready to make an informed decision about where I would like to qualify.
