Meet Laura Millman, Senior Associate
Have flexible work requirements affected my opportunities at Foot Anstey? Not at all – in fact, I was recently promoted to senior associate and have been supported all the way. After maternity leave I was able to relocate to the Plymouth office for better career progression opportunities, and working part-time hasn't affected my chances of promotion in the slightest. With a husband in the Services, flexibility is a must for me. Foot Anstey has given me freedom and trust to do my job in a way that works for me, holding respect for work/life balance.
Aside from the flexibility, I believe that the best aspects of working for Foot Anstey are the people and the autonomy you're given. The support the firm provides stretches across all aspects of working life, shown in the strong appraisal process where training needs are identified and your requirements met. We have associate forum days where business strategies are shared with the associates. This means that as future partners in the firm, we’re kept engaged and feel we have a valid voice. I’ve nothing but positive things to say about career development opportunities here at Foot Anstey.
