Meet Dan Then, Business Excellence Officer
I joined Foot Anstey 12 months ago as an IT support engineer. Since then I was successful in achieving an internal job move to become the firm's business excellence officer, I currently look after internal audits and compliance, to make sure we’re fully prepared for any external audits that take place within the firm. I also get involved with dealing and resolving complaints and claims whilst also being on hand to the rest of the firm for legal compliance advice. I also identify areas of the firm where we can improve the quality systems and procedures and, along with my manager, look to implement these changes.
I’m really thankful to Foot Anstey for the opportunity to progress so quickly and be trained up to do a brand new role, which I really enjoy. For a large firm there is a small business mind-set with regards to its employees so I’ve always felt like a valued individual, rather than just a number.
There’s a really friendly atmosphere at Foot Anstey. Everyone goes out of their way to make you feel welcomed and comfortable at all times. There are great social events too, where the whole firm gets together - these are always a great opportunity to meet all the people that I speak to on the phone and get to know them better.
We are pleased to announce that since this post has been published Dan Then has been promoted again to Office Manager.
