Our support functions

Business Excellence

Our Business Excellence Team plays a vital role in supporting the firm in all areas of quality, compliance, business improvement, records and archive management. The team works closely with both legal and executive teams to evolve our systems and processes within the business, continually improving efficiency.

Business Services

This team is in place to provide everyone in the firm with any help and support they need when it comes to any internal business services. Within this team, you may add value to the business in many ways, from providing services to the other teams in the form of co-ordinating post, printing, stationery and photocopying, as well as building services, security, and health and safety.

Client Development

The client development team works alongside the partners and legal teams to ensure that our clients remain at the heart of everything we do. Guided by the client development director, our team of business development managers work closely with the partners in each of our key sectors and practice groups to advise on a broad range of communication and business development activity. Campaign executives are closely aligned to the business development managers and support the implementation and delivery of focused marketing campaigns.

Finance and Accounts

Our accounts team is focused on driving increasingly efficient operations through the provision of accurate and timely financial information. Depending on your role, you will be involved in office account transactions, electronic payments, expense claims management and management accounting and reporting. Whatever your role, you will aim to support partners, clients and others with their financial queries.

HR, Learning and Development

Working within our HR and L&D teams, you will support the firm to deliver all aspects of our People Strategy. This will include resourcing, recruitment and on-boarding of top quality talent at all levels within the firm. You will also design and roll out engaging and impactful programmes to develop our people, as well as support and advise on project delivery across a range of HR and L&D initiatives.

IT

The right technology helps everyone succeed. So as part of our IT team, you will be integral to the smooth running of the business. You could be involved with support desks, client document portals, IT policy and advice, IT security, document production, e-information storage, and mobile technology, dependent on your role.

Recruitment process

RECRUITMENT PROCESS

Online application

Once you have identified a vacancy that you wish to apply for, please complete the online application form which is managed through our CV Mail system.

First interview

If successfully shortlisted for the first stage, you will then be invited in for an initial interview with the relevant team leader so that we can find out more about you - and you can find out more about us.

Second interview

If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited back to a more detailed panel interview with the relevant department head and another manager or member of the HR Team. There may also be an additional assessment activity, such as an in-tray exercise or working with your team. You will also get the opportunity to tour the office and meet your new colleagues.
