Our paralegal and trainee legal executives are a vital part of our legal teams as they support qualified solicitors and lawyers and our wide client base. We offer excellent opportunities for high quality work, all within a fully supported environment with plenty of opportunity to qualify through CILEx, as well as alternative routes to qualification.
Whatever your academic or working background and whatever area of the firm you may be interested in, we look for specific qualities from our paralegal and trainee legal executives. Bright and brilliant, you will have meticulous attention to detail, a strong work ethic, a thorough approach and an appreciation of high quality work. We would also expect you to have a talent for exceptional client service.
We look for a wide variety of people to join us - non law graduates, non-graduates as well as law and LPC graduates. So whether you are keen to develop a career in law through a non-training contract route or you are clear about the practice area you want to work in, we are interested to hear from you.
We have a specific development programme in place for our paralegal and trainee legal executives. It is linked to CILEx development where possible because we think it is important to receive on-the-job training.
From January 2015, we are launching a Legal Academy, offering legal apprenticeships in levels 2 and 3 with the aim of developing brilliant Legal Assistants: we want to deliver clear career paths to all those looking to progress their careers in law.

Our working environment
Once you have identified a vacancy that you wish to apply for, please complete the online application form which is managed through our CV Mail system.
If successfully shortlisted, you will then be invited in for an initial interview with a solicitor or associate within the team so we can find out more about you - and you can find out more about us.
If you are successful at this stage, you will be invited back to a more detailed panel interview and assessment session with a partner from the team. This will typically involve an assessment activity, such as an in-tray exercise or other written assessment. You will also get the opportunity to tour the office and meet the team.
